What You'd Work On

You'd be a hands-on contributor helping to design, build, and ship xzeptiq's core platform and its AI-driven features — from "vibe coding" and experimenting with LLMs and agents to production-ready software, data pipelines, enterprise integrations, and system architecture. You'd work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders (ex-Google, 60+ years combined IT experience), turning strategic business needs into robust, secure, production-ready solutions. We hire across seniority — from early-career engineers who learn fast and love to go deep, to experienced engineers who can own features end-to-end.

What We Look For

✓Drive to Go Deep. A genuine willingness to dive into hard, unfamiliar problems and figure them out — this matters more to us than years on your CV.
✓Engineering Craft. Solid grounding in software development, modern engineering practices, and robust system architecture; you write clean, testable, production-minded code.
✓AI & Product Sense. Experience with — or strong curiosity about — AI-driven, LLM-based, or data-intensive products, and an eye for shipping things people actually use.
✓Execution & Delivery. Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and drive features end-to-end, from concept to deployment.
✓Exceptional Communication. Ability to collaborate across product, business, and data, and to translate complex technical concepts clearly.
✓Security & Compliance Mindset. You keep reliability, privacy, and compliance in mind — they are critical in enterprise AI environments.
✓Foundation. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience — internships, projects, open source, and professional work all count.
✓Location. Comfort with a hybrid setup in Austria, and readiness to thrive in an evolving, fast-moving environment.

Compensation (for reference): For transparency, the collective-agreement minimum (IT-KV) for engineering roles ranges from roughly € 3,175 to € 3,954 gross per month, depending on level and experience. As an early employee, your actual compensation would be custom-tailored — a direct equity stake in the FlexCo combined with a salary component, structurally designed to match your market value and our startup stage. We are explicitly willing to overpay the collective minimum through this combined equity and salary package.
